fall leaves

RMDS is BLOOMING in the month of May!

The RMDS story is inspiring..a little school for deaf children that is gaining more and more national attention as a school of excellence in bilingual education. It is the teamwork that makes Rocky Mountain Deaf School what it is! And as we near the end of another school year, I am amazed at how much we have accomplished together. We could not have done it without this blessing of partnership. So thank you for all that you do to support your child and our school. And thank you to all the volunteers who generously donate their time and energy to the many events and programs at RMDS.

Also, in case you haven't heard all the buzz around school, our RMDS bill has flown through the Colorado House and Senate. Those extra funds will go far in helping us to pay for our building, technology, and supplies needs in future years. As our numbers grow, we know that the future truly looks bright for RMDS!

Sincerely yours,
Dr. Janet Dickinson

Parent Advisory Council

You are invited to participate in the director's Parent Advisory Council (PAC).

The Parent Advisory Council advises the director about parents' concerns and suggestions regarding student achievement and other issues in the school. Parents' perspectives are a tremendous value to our school. We welcome the opportunity to gain insight from parents in how to make RMDS the best it can be!
