Rocky Mountain Deaf School (RMDS) is a bilingual charter school located in the shadow of the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains in Golden, Colorado.   This high performing school is founded on the belief that deaf children can and should succeed. Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:

The Rocky is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in the area of language and communication. Mountain Deaf School
This position is responsible for providing speech language instruction to preschool, elementary and middle school students who are Deaf/hard-of-hearing in a bilingual educational setting.

  •  Evaluating student progress
  • Provide consultative and collaborative services as needed 
  • Participate in staff development and other school functions 
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEP)

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
    Desired: ASHA, CCC OR CFY 
  • Must hold or be eligible for appropriate special services licensure in the State of Colorado, endorsed in Speech Language.
  • Experience working with children (in an educational environment) who are Deaf / hard-of-hearing (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
