Speech Language Pathologist
Job Description & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Desired: ASHA, CCC OR CFY.
- Must hold or be eligible for appropriate special services licensure in the State of Colorado, endorsed in Speech Language.
- Experience working with children (in an educational environment) who are Deaf / hard-of-hearing (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
Job Summary:
The Rocky Mountain Deaf School is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in the area of language and communication
This position is responsible for:
Provide speech language instruction to preschool, elementary and middle school students who are Deaf/hard-of-hearing in a bilingual educational setting.
• Evaluating student progress
• Provide consultative and collaborative services as needed
• Participate in staff development and other school functions
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
